The flags are looking great!

1. Nice job today everyone, your characters are looking great.
2. Next week we will start the day and continue on the Logo Design Project.
3. For homework, go to the tab "Drawing Bugs" follow the directions, we will look at your drawings next class.
4. If you are have problems remembering the steps in illustrator, check out the first two videos on the "Illustrator Basics" tab at the top of the blog. 
5. If you are interested in some of the videos I showed in class today, several of them are on the tab marked "Video"

Great Job on the flags today!!!

1. If you did not get a chance to finish your flags today you will have some time next Saturday.

2. Go to the top of the class blog and select the "Logo Design Project " tab, follow the directions.

3. If you would like extra time to work on your projects, I'm in the same room on T&TH evenings from 6:30-10 if you want to come by and use the computers. 

Below are just a couple of the flags, we will look at the rest next week.

Homework

1. Based on the feed back you received in class on your flag sketches. Choose one of the ones you had feed back on and develop it.
2. Redraw it using the basic elements from the original sketch. As you do, think about the 5 rules for a well designed flag that were talked about in the video.
3. do not ink the drawing, we will do that in illustrator next week.
4. I have added a new tab at the top of the blog entitled "Video," you do not need to watch all the videos now, just one, scroll down to the one labeled "Lynda Barry" watch her video on creativity, we will talk about it in class 
next week.
5. Next week, also remember to bring your red pencil back, blank sketchbook, some black pens and a flash drive.
