2. We began working on the final project. to learn more about this, go to the tab labeled
"Project Update" and read.
3. You will have to contact me in order to get your projects topic.
If you were in class today:
Next class, bring your sketchbooks with all of your designs in pencil only.
In class next week:
1. We will work on building the final project poster this will be a one day build because it is our last class.
2. You will have from 9-2 and a critique from 2-3.

Homework & Poster Project Review
Here is your drawing project for the week,
watch the video below and have fun.
Next Saturday you will have the first hour of class to finalize your poster and then we will have a critique. Please review the information below, it tells you what to be ready for when we critique your work.
Poster Project Review
As part of the poster project you are being graded for both the
content of the work and how you talk about the work, read the two handouts
below and be able to identify both the elements of design and the principles of
it in your work.
Poster
content:
A. A common "Metaphor or Phrase" from the
movement
B. The title of the movement
C. The date it started
D. Colors unique to that movement
E. One key influential artist or designer, name and or image
F. A paragraph of text. Minimum of 20 words and maximum of 50 words that describe the characteristics of the movement.

Up to $200 AWARD TO WINNING ENTRIES

WINNING DESIGN WILL
BE PRINTED IN COLOR COPIES, IN 12x18” (or larger)
AND DISTRIBUTED
COLLEGE-WIDE. POSTERS WILL HAVE WIDE EXPOSURE ACROSS CAMPUS

REPRESENTATION OF THE DVC STUDENT DEMANDS IN RESPONSE TO RECENT ACTS OF RACISM
AGAINST DVC STUDENTS AND PROGRAMS
