1. Great job with your animals today I will be posting some of you flat houses and animals on Instagram.

2. For homework, please work on the two animal portion of the project. It will be do next week, you will have the first hour of class next week to fine tune it.

nice job designing the head icons today. Here are clips from today's demo.


Homework:
1. By the start of class next Saturday you will turn in 4 Head Icons to the "Head Icon" discussion board.
2. Two of the heads must be from the sample page provided on the "Drawing Vector Head Icon" tab above.
3. You may choose 2 photos of other heads if you like, however, when you turn in the other 2 heads you must include the photo that you used to create your work.
4. If you do not want to choose other photos you may do all four heads from the sample page provided.
5. I have sent you an email with a link to class video, with a password

3/21 Homework

Hi,
For next week you need to: 

1. Upload the final draft of the project to the discussion board titled Final Draft Poster by next Saturday at 9:30am.

2. Be prepared to be working on the final version of the project during class. This means, glue, ink, scissors, your printer or anything else you may require should be handy. As you are working on your piece I will be giving you feedback during the lab time.

3. Here is a video that I would like you to watch before next week. Put it on in the background while you are working on your project. It's Shepard Fairey
talking about the art of posters and the things that inspire him as an artist. We will talk about it next Saturday.

3. DVC Spring Recess is from March 29 - April 4, so no class on April 4.

In the past, these funds have been used to fund tutoring for students, upgrade computer labs, develop new programs such as Sport Medicine and Alternative Energy, and purchase such state-of-the-art equipment as a digital X-ray unit for the Dental Programs. We need your help to make sure that DVC continues to receive the money we need to keep our programs up-to-date! 

3.      The information you provide will be treated with strict confidentiality! Your Student ID number is required for enrollment verification only; the survey is useless without your student ID number.

4.      Please complete ONE survey EVERY semester that you are enrolled at DVC, if you have completed a survey in another course this semester, there is no need to do so again.

1. Next week we will focus on completing the digital versions of your poems.

2. Please go to the Visual Vocabulary tab at the top of the blog and follow the directions and choose new images as you repeat the homework from last week.

3. Just a heads up that next week we will be using the gridded note paper that was part of the kit.

An optional drawing event happening this weekend at the east bay comic con, its a one day event happening this Sunday. Bring your sketchbook, and pencils as we draw the attendees.
