artdmgd: Logo Design Project

The Goal of the project is to create a text logo and a graphic logo based on an animal that walks, fly's or swims.

To Do:
1. You will choose an animal that walks, fly's or swims.
- Both the text and graphic logo design will use colors from the animal.
- Both the text and graphic logo design's shape should be based on the animal
you choose.
- Sample Animal:

2. Creat a text logo
- In your dot pad draw 6 Thumbnail boxes in 2 neat rows.
- Draw 6 variations of your text logo, one in each box.
- Sample Text:

3. Create a graphic logo
- In your sketchbook draw 6 Thumbnail boxes in 2 neat rows.
- Draw 6 variations of your graphic logo, one in each box.
- Sample Graphic:

4. Do not color your drawing, use red pencil, we will scan and color next week.

BONUS

2. Here are some fun logos that use animals, I'm sure you can think of many more.

6. Create a Vertical, letter size art board for this project.

7. After you have scanned and traced your homework drawings, create a custom color palate from your creatures photo.

8. For presentation to your client, scale and move you icons into a grid like formation.

9. In the empty corner create a box that should be approximately 1" square, using the ALT-drag option create as many squares as colors you have used and fill each one with color as shown below.

10. Type animal logo at the top, use a simple modern font like Helvetica.
