Congratulations everyone!
you created some great word images, here are some of them.
When we meet again on Saturday the 20th (No-School February 12-15), we
will work on finishing the nursery rhyme project. A couple of you did finish, here are some images:
Reading Homework:
Please read the first chapter in the text book, (Graphic Design Solutions). Chapter 1 covers many of the topics we have discussed in class. Make some notes on what you read, we will be talking about it in class on Saturday the 20th.
Video Homework:
Watch the next 2 videos from the Class Blog video page, entitled "How doing a drawing a day changed my life" and "Learn How to Draw 8 Vector Music Icons" (we will be using the homework drawings to create kitchen icons when we meet again).
Drawing Homework:
In your sketchbook, on one page, draw 16 different
objects that you would find in your
kitchen that can be used cook with. Turn the
sketchbook to a vertical direction and draw as if an
invisible grid were on the paper, drawing 4 rows of 4
objects per row, for a total of 16 objects. Sketch in
pencil and use a black ball point pen to add ink, do
not erase. Neat rows, and none of the objects should
touch.
